Zeitgeist is formed by Zia Trench and Phil Zwiegers but couldn't be done without the help, support and input of many incredibly talented, wonderful people.

Zia Trench

Zia Trench is a writer, film-maker and an award-winning political journalist. She’s worked for BBC, ITN and Sky news as a presenter/reporter. After studying Politics and Philosophy, she took a Masters in Creative/Script Writing and was chosen by Radio 4 as an upcoming fiction writer 'to watch out for'. She has won various fiction and travel writing competitions and has written her first novel on the coca-trade in Bolivia. As a playwright, she exploits a long-running interest in contemporary political issues. As a freelance director/presenter, she’s made films on Antarctica, the Gaza war and directs, writes and presents corporate videos for small charities and organisations. Phil Zwiegers

Phil is the business brains- well brains in general - behind the whole thing; an IT and business consultant he is also not averse to turning his hands to lighting, rigging and set-design. He is also brilliant at sifting through scripts and finding gems of new writing. He has a long-standing interest in theatre and he keeps this whole well-oiled machine...well-oiled.

 

Caterina Turroni

Company Secretary.
Caterina is a film and television producer who we couldn’t do without. As well as keeping an eye on budgets, finances and records, Caterina has been a staunch supporter of Zeitgeist since day one. As an former actress, she attends, advises and helps us with most events.
